Arlauskis made national team debut as a substitute against Moldova in friendly game on 19th November 2008. He entered game at 46th minute and conceded a goal after 67 minutes while Lithuania played draw with Moldova 1-1.

His first official game came on 18th June 2010 when Lithuania played goalless draw with Latvia in Baltic cup.

Conflict

Arlauskis refused to represent national team on October 2010 and March 2011 while Lithuania’s manager was Raimondas Zutautas. Arlauskis expressed his opinion that he was kept on the bench during national team games because he refused to sign with an agency which is close to Zutautas. Manager rejected allegations.

The last time Arlauskis was taking part in national team training is September 2010 when Lithuania played Czech Republic in Euro2012 group stage. Arlauskis was left on the bench.
